The GTF will keep track of all fundraising between now and Christmas Eve and whoever raises the most money will be rewarded with the two return Virgin Atlantic flights to any of the airline’s global destinations.   The winner will be announced on Christmas Eve 2009.

Geoff said: “We are extremely grateful to Virgin Atlantic for donating the flights to help us raise much needed funds.  It’s going to be a great Christmas present for someone.  Who knows, I may just turn up on the doorstep dressed as Father Christmas to deliver a real festive surprise!   I am thrilled and proud that with Virgin Atlantic’s generous support, we will be able to say a big ‘thank you’ to our top fundraiser for 2009.”

One of the key fundraising opportunities will be the EDF Birmingham Half Marathon on Sunday, October 11th where Geoff will be fielding a team of runners.  

“I’m hoping to get together a strong Team GTF Birmingham and I’m hoping to persuade a few of my football and sporting mates to join me.   It should be a great atmosphere and a good chance to raise a significant amount of money for supporters wanting to win those flights”, said Geoff.
