Barclays Bank match-funded the proceeds that Toby raised from his cake stall. Toby is now aiming to raise a total of £30,000 for the Foundation.
Toby’s Mum, Rhoda, said: ‘By focusing our energies on something positive, we feel is it helping us all to ensure that Steve didn’t die in vain.’
‘Toby is a real hero,’ said Geoff. ‘For someone so young to put so much energy into fundraising is exceptional. His Uncle Steve would have been so proud of him.’
