GTF ART AUCTION HAS NEW DATE AND VENUE
Turner prize nominees Jeremy Deller and Antony Gormley are just two of the artists and designers whose work will be up for auction under the hammer of leading Sotheby’s auctioneer Harry Dalmeny.
Works to be snapped up include Open by Antony Gormley, Memphis by Jeremy Deller, Katie Come True by contemporary pop artist Stuart Semple, Roses by Japser Joffe, Helicopter by Geoff Young – winner of this year’s John Jones Art on Paper Award at Zoo Art, Donna Wilson’s knitted creatures and a limited edition hand silk-screened print from designer Concetta Gallo’s forthcoming collection, Surreal.
Geoff said: ‘I would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who has worked hard to bring the GTF Art Auction to life, especially Susan McNally and Brenda Parkerson, and for the fantastic array of donated art – the line-up is spectacular.
The auction has been created by Susan McNally and Brenda Parkerson of Art for Good. Susan is an independent arts project manager and consultant and Brenda is Regional Director for Arts and Business North.
