Matt and Chris were inspired by their great friend and colleague, Steve Mead, who sadly lost his battle with leukaemia earlier this year.  Before his death, Steve also worked tirelessly to raise funds for leukaemia patients.  The series of fundraising events, under the banner of Le Mead 2009, were a great tribute to Steve.

‘I was thrilled to be able to give Matt and Chris a call to let them know about their prize – they are two great lads who have worked so hard throughout the year to really make a difference.  They have done an amazing job – Steve would have been so proud of them,’ said Geoff.
