GTF LAUNCHES CAMPAIGN WITH ACCOUNTANTS
Geoff has launched a new fundraising campaign with accountants which unites three of the key players in the industry. IRIS, AVN and AccountingWeb and their clients will raise funds under the dedicated campaign Making it Count – Accountants Fighting Cancer.
The emphasis of the campaign has been placed on ensuring that accountancy firms get something back from their involvement with the GTF. The campaign therefore features various levels of fundraising.
Once firms raise over £1,000, they receive a signed copy of Geoff’s book, a photograph of Geoff with a personalised message, use of the campaign logo and registration of their details and fundraising efforts on the campaign website, a press release template to publicise their association with the GTF in local and regional press; and an invitation to selected GTF events.
For fundraising of over £10,000, firms will also receive a personal visit by Geoff to their office with the opportunity to tailor-make the visit to their requirements, including a motivational speech by Geoff or a question and answer session with staff.
The campaign is open to all accountants who are interested in fundraising for the GTF. A dedicated website has been created for firms to register their interest, find out more about the campaign and obtain an information pack with details of how they can get involved at www.accountancy.geoffthomasfoundation.org
The campaign has generated a great deal of interest following the launch a couple of weeks ago, with the first Level 2 partner, Franklin Chartered Accountants, based in London, already in place with a donation of £1,662.
